Alfred A. Sison, MA, LMFT, PsyD; "Dr. Al" is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a subspeciality license in Marriage and Family Therapy. He services individuals, couples, and familes through the psycho -therapeutic process, behavioral health consultation, wellness coaching, and maintains a private practice in Honolulu, HI.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Al currently works as a Primary Care Health Psychologist at Kaiser Permanente-Hawaii, has provided mental health evaluation and assessment services for Hawaii State government programs, and has been an Adjunct Professor at private Hawaii universities teaching Marriage and Family Therapy courses and practicum supervision as well as a post doctoral Clinical Psychology supervision at Kaiser Permanente Hawaii.
Dr. Al is a practical, interactive client centered/solution-focused/ACT therapist. His treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. He incorporates a blend of conventional, evidence based, and alternative approaches. He draws upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, he works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
Dr. Al enjoys surfing, golf, chess, music, and spending time with his family in the Kaneohe Bay during his free time.
